Chemainus Skirt

I wanted to create a relatively easy to knit, comfortable, and stylish skirt that would go well with boots and leggings (my uniform for winter). This skirt is great. I think of it as the lower half of a sweater dress. The bonus is that you can wear any top you like and you won’t overheat when you’re inside. It can be knit in any chunky/bulky weight yarn. The cable in the front adds texture and interest. It is knit on 2 needles for a couple of reasons; it gives the skirt some structure and I actually prefer to knit on two needles (it’s the English in me!).
